 | Effect of lighting on Make-up to include Blue/Fluorescent, Yellow/filament, Daylight |

 | Recognise different face, eye, nose, lip shapes |
|
 | Choosing suitable products |

| Module 2: Unit 41 Fashion, Theatre & Media Make-up |
 | Anatomy: bones of the cranium and face, muscles of face, the skin |

 | Effects of lighting on different make-ups |

 | Day, evening & special occasion make-up |

 | Application of false eyelashes |

 | Crepe hair work-beard, moustache, stubble |

 | Historical Period make-up to include Egyptian, 16th, 17th, 18th Century, 19th Century (Victorian), early 20th Century (Edwardian) |

 | Pantomime and fairytale characters |

| Module 3: Unit 42 Special Effects Make-up |
 | Scratches, grazes, cuts and wounds |

 | Bruising new & old, Scars |

 | 1st, 2nd & 3rd degree burns |

 | Shock, Sweat, Tears, Sun & Wind burn |

 | Snow, ice and frostbite |
|
 | Blood capsules and bladders |

 | Missing teeth |

 | Skin disease & disorders to include Psoriasis, Acne, Impetigo, Herpes Simplex |

 | Bullet wounds, broken nose, stab wounds, tattoos |

| Module: 6: Hairstyling |
| This module is a must for all make-up artists who want to create their creative talent and a useful addition to portfolio preparation. During the course you will learn how to create period, vintage, 60’s and up-styles which can be used to complement any look. This skill will be of benefit to make-up artists when working in the television, film and the fashion industry. |

| Module 8: Portfolio Preparation |

Course Duration: Will be held 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9.30am - 4.30pm |
