This course is designed to enable students to provide healthy eating advice for their clients for the purpose of improving health and lifestyle.
Students will study the theory of the main nutrients required for a healthy diet as well as deficiencies and disorders and key illnesses associated with diet. In addition students will develop knowledge, skills and techniques required to successfully compose a dietary plan.

| Course content includes the following: |

 | All the major Nutrients, Protein, Fats, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, Minerals, Water and Antioxidants. |
|
 | Anti-Nutrients such as Alcohol, Caffeine, Smoking, Environmental Pollutants and there affect on the body. |
|
 | Foods such as Meat, Dairy, Fruit, Vegetables, Grains, Nuts, Seeds and there role in a healthy diet. |
|
 | Conditions and Disorders such as Obesity, Diabetes, Hypoglycemia and Eating Disorders. |
|
 | Diets to help treat common ailments such as Constipation, Cystitis, IBS, and Sinusitis. |
|
 | Dietary needs of specific groups including pregnant women, children and the older individual. |
|
 | Observational methods to obtain a holistic picture of your client including nail, face and tongue analysis. |

| This course will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm - 9.30pm for 28 classes. |
