| Course content includes the following: |

 | Unit 9: Skincare & Eye Treatments |
|
| Skin types and skin analysis, structure and functions of the skin, anatomy & physiology of the face and neck, facial massage, deep cleansing, masks, eyebrow shaping, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, selection of correct products. |

| Unit 10: Make-up |
|
| Application of make-up for day, evening and special occasions, choosing suitable products, choosing appropriate corrective techniques, cosmetic science. |

| Unit 11: Manicure & Pedicure |
|
| Nail disease & disorders, anatomy of the hand & foot, full manicure and pedicure treatments, hand and foot massage, (Paint & French Manicure) |

| Unit 12: Waxing |
|
| Understanding hair growth, health, safety & hygiene procedures to follow, Understand explain and demonstrate hot & cool wax, functions and ingredients of products used in waxing treatments, waxing treatments of all areas of the body. |

| There is also Anatomy & Physiology for Beauty Specialist, which covers a number of Systems. This includes The Skin, Muscles, Bones & Nerves of the face/head/neck/shoulder/arms/hand/ leg/foot. |

| Professional Conduct and Business Awareness |
|
| Professional appearance, client confidentially, consent and client records, insurance, safety check ad fire regulations, hygiene and infections, consultation cards, code of ethics, different types of business entities, Health & Safety At Work Act, legislation relevant to beauty therapy, Employing staff, stock control and selling skills, advertising, costing and security. |
